There are more than 2,000 archaeological and historic sites recorded on U.S. Bureau of Reclamation-administered land in the Mid-Pacific Region. The region manages more than 900,000 museum property items, primarily prehistoric artifacts, collected in support of cultural resource activities for reclamation projects. A significant portion of archaeological information for the region is in a GIS.
