Case Study: ESRI K–12 Solutions: School Bus Routing - Using ESRI Tools to Address the Problems
Transportation directors at school districts face problems that complicate transporting students to school. Among these problems are: budget cuts, fuel costs, and difficulties in hiring qualified drivers or office personnel. Laws affect how schoolchildren are transported and even where bus stops can be placed. Parents, administrators, and school boards seek more accountability and better service from drivers and transportation officials.
