Data collection has been estimated to be 75 percent of the effort in building any type of geospatial project. In agriculture, collecting soil samples, yield data, pest infestations, crop input, and other features as attributes for a precision farming project is necessary to have adequate information for analytical decision making. The purpose of this workshop is provide field data collection and Geo-referencing techniques that can be incorporated into many agricultural programs.
