Angela Lee has served as the Libraries & Museums Industry Manager for ESRI since 1995. Her primary responsibilities are coordination of ESRI’s outreach and marketing activities to libraries, museums, and related educational organizations such as botanical gardens and zoos, and acting as a liaison between ESRI and these user communities. Currently, she is working to increase the use of museums through better integration of museum collection management systems and GIS. In addition, she continues to work with libraries to expand the use of GIS into new areas, such as business.
Angela has made dozens of presentations on the use of GIS in public libraries, academic libraries, and museums, and has conducted several hands-on GIS workshops in the United States and Canada.
Also while at ESRI, Angela was involved in the development of ArcVoyager, a custom GIS package for educators, and contributed to the development of curriculum packages for ESRI Press, including Mapping Our World: GIS Lessons for Educators and Community Geography: GIS in Action.
Before coming to ESRI, Angela was a GIS Consultant at Technical Associates in Geographic Analysis. Her responsibilities there included database development and map production for a variety of clients.
