Toni is a proponent of lifelong education and practices the principle in her own life. Accordingly, she is always pursuing a degree of one kind or another. Although her GIS education background has stemmed from Environmental Science and Geography, her first dedication is to philosophy.

Toni has worked in a number of different fields including forestry, telecommunications, mass transit, and local government; implementing GIS within organizations, taking GIS from being an unknown to being relied on as a dependable solution. Toni has also worked as a GIS instructor for ArcGIS Desktop, ArcGIS Server, database and programming. When she isn’t working in GIS or working on her education, you can find her backpacking in the mountains.

As the Higher Education Manager, Toni will help to bridge the worlds between fast moving technology and the education requirements for both educators and their students, while staying grounded in a philosophical understanding of education itself.
